UBON INTERNATIONAL WAX FESTIVAL 2015, THAILAND

Take a look the contemporary Wax Sculptures by the international artists from Nepal, Japan, Turkey and the leading institution of art such as Silpakorn University, Mahasarakham University, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Phuket Rajabhat University. The works reflect their thought through local traditional beewax carving. Nowhere else you ever seen beewax as an element of the creating. The works will be showed at Thung Sri Muang Public Park. Celebrate on fascinating greatness of the candle procession along with traditional dancing parade of thousands of local people from kinds down to ages on July 31 and don't miss light and sound candle procession on evening July 30.
Have a nice work at "Thung Sri Muang Public Park" a field in the heart of the city is a beautifully landscaped public park. Feel relax and peaceful romantic of candle light in the park where you have found to opposite things full one another (Philosophy of Ying-Yang) (July 29-31)

"Visiting Candle Artisan Community". Once in a year, local artisans gather at temple compound for carving and decorating beewax forming Buddhism Symbolic for instance Buddha image, make merit and take a photo with carved wax and parade. (July 15-30)
Walk at Sai Tien road, found the story of Buddhism and lifestyle about philosophy of balance livelihood, the way of practice the dharma and folkways activities such as making scented candles , weaving "JooK Kram", famous brand in UBON. There are also participating and learning activities and opening booth to sell products at Sai Tien Road, Shrine of the city god (July 27-31)
Shopping handmade souvenirs by artisan a local products that are distributed only in limited areas at "Thung Sri Muang Public Park". (July 27-31)
