Bangkok--5 Aug--Ambassador Hotel Bangkok
From 11th to 23rd August 2015, Sukhumvit will come alive as it is the area for the official hotel for the Royal Muaythai World Cup in which 102 countries and around 2,500 delegates will participate.
The Ambassador Hotel Bangkok, one of the largest hotels and convention center in Bangkok is the official hotel for the IFMA World Cup 2015. The hotel with nearly 800 rooms and many convention facilities is in the heart of Bangkok in the shopping and entertainment district with the BTS and MRT within walking distance.
Over the last 2 weeks, many adjustments have been made and the IFMA international office led by Sport Director Charissa Tynan, Hotel’s Resident Manager, Suchart Ketnuam, technical delegate Phaiboon Sirchaisawad and IFMA General Secretary Stephan Fox, went to inspect. Construction
is at it’s final stage with a special gym, full sized boxing ring, punching bag station and sauna ready for the athletes to train every day.
In addition, work on the cultural square has started, where every night along with the daily expo, this will be the place for socialising for all the delegates and athletes. The meeting rooms,
the Gala dinner and Awards Night ball room, the kid’s club, parking facilities for 20 buses and VIP cars are all set up.
Hotel’s Resident Manager, Suchart Ketnuam said “ stated that the hotel is ready and excited to welcome all the delegates, athletes and coaches from the 102 countries for this special event ”.
