Photo Release: Bangkok Bank donates Kyat 35 million to help flood victims in Myanmar through the Central Bank of Myanmar

Bangkok--7 Aug--Bangkok Bank Bangkok Bank's Yangon branch manager Kanet Buranasin (3rd from right) and marketing manager Tossatis Rodprasert (2nd from right), on behalf of the bank, presented Kyat 35 million (equivalent to Baht 1 million) to the Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Dr. Set Aung (3rd from left) to help flood victims affected by Cyclone Komen. The cyclone caused many deaths and left many people homeless. Bangkok Bank has continued its relief effort by opening the "Donations for Myanmar Flood Victims" bank account 101-3-45657-7 to receive donations via the bank's various channels and exempting transfers from all inter-region transfer fees. Moreover fees collected from customers who transfer money to Bangkok Bank's Yangon branch from any of 500 Bangkok Bank branches nationwide will also be donated to support the victims. These activities run from today until 31st August 2015.
