Mr. Narin Wongtanasirikul, Responsible Care Leader of Dow Thailand, together with 20 Dow volunteers organized the “Lime Planting” activity under the “Neighbor Care” project by educating 100 students of Watkeereepawanaram School and people in the nearby community about a lime tree farming and nourishing. The key expectations of this project are to minimize lime purchase for school’s lunch cooking as well as to generate additional income of the school and the community people. Some produce will also be sold to Dow staff in the company’s community enterprise promotional activities.
The “Neighbor Care” is the project that Dow Thailand has encouraged its employees to initiate the activities which can help improve the better life quality of people in Rayong’s communities. The lime planting is the eighth activity of this project which more than 400 Dow volunteers have been participating since 2014.
