Mr. Thongma Vijitpongpun, President and Chief Executive Officer, Pruksa Real Estate Public Company Limited. revealed that, “We are pleased to announce that our first-half 2015 performance has increased in all areas in a year-on-year comparison with those of 2014, having generated 23,939 Million Baht in sales, 21,766 Million Baht in revenue and 3,059 Million Baht in net profit – each producing an impressive 33.5%, 15.7% and 4.2% growth respectively.”
“The overall Thai economic growth this year has so far been somewhat sluggish, however, the Thai real estate industry has made a strong and steady growth in the opposite direction, expected to grow by 15% over last year. The total real estate market value for Bangkok and surrounding provinces is estimated at 179,344 Million Baht, a notable 31% growth over the same figure last year. For Pruksa in particular, we were able to deliver a healthy 33.5% growth in sales over last year. We were also able to maintain our 12% market share in the overall market and secure our dominant 33% share and the market leadership in the townhouse segment, while still retaining our 13% market share for the detached home segment.”, added Mr. Thongma.
Mr. Lersuk Chuladesa, Executive Vice Chairman and President, Pruksa Real Estate Public Co., Ltd.,
stated that, “It is Pruksa’s underlying philosophy to continue to create added value for our customers through innovation, advanced construction technology and service excellence. This has led to our successful first half of 2015, having generated 23,939 in sales and 21,766 in revenue, already achieving 51% and 46% respectively of the year’s sales and revenue targets of 47,000 Million Baht. During the second half of the year, we still have over 20,508 Million Baht worth of sales backlog scheduled to be acknowledged and a total of 181 active projects valued at over 80 Billion Baht as of June 2015. Therefore, we have very good reason to be optimistic about meeting, if not exceeding, all of our targets for the year 2015.”
