(Source: Morningstar, 31 July 2015) - a proof that KSAM is a leader in offering mutual funds of various investment policies with outstanding performance for consistent returns to all investors. Mr. Alan Kam, KSAM’s Managing Director (Acting) said that “The foreign investment funds (FIF) under our management have been well responded and continued to attract more investors. In the first 7 months of 2015, asset under management (AUM) in the FIFs was Baht 30,484 million which represents the growth of 151% from Baht 12,142 million in the end of 2014. Our investment inflow in FIF is also the highest in the industry at the total value of Baht 13,562 million, which is accounted for 24% of the industry. (Source: Morningstar, 31 July 2015) “A factor that contributed to FIF’s good responses from investors was a fact that we recognized the importance of choosing outstanding funds that have track record of good performance. Besides, our Funds have various investment policies so that investors have options in managing their portfolio for risk’s diversification since no assets give good return in all economics conditions.” “FIFs under our management are highly distinguished and they are among the top funds with increasing net investment. One of our outstanding FIFs being ranked top in net inflow include Krungsri Global Income Fund (KF-INCOME) that has additional net investment of Baht 7,074 million. This Fund provides investors with an opportunity to gain access to worldwide assets, while fund managers will adjust allocation of investment ratio in various assets to suit the prevailing situation and economic conditions under our competent fund managers. This leads to lower risks and higher chance to receive consistent returns for investors who prefer to regular cash stream. KF-INCOME was established in December 2014 and until now there have been 8 automatic redemptions with the latest redemption in August 2015 which is 4.58% per annum. (Source : KSAM, 20 August 2015) “We also have Krungsri Global Healthcare Equity Dividend Fund (KF-HEALTHD), which has gained notable popularity among investors with additional net investment of 4,988 million Baht. (Source: Morningstar, 31 January 2015). Investment in healthcare sector increases the chance to receive consistent returns in long term due to global aging population and longer life span. Population of over 60 years of age will increase threefold every 50 years, while the rate of increase in aging population is higher than the rate of increase in total population. It is anticipated that the average age of the world population will be 73.7 in 2017, meaning higher medical and healthcare expenses will be a positive factor for the growth of healthcare business in many regions.” (Source: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) Global Life Sciences and Health Care Industry Group analysis of United Nations data statistics, 2014) “In June this year, KF-HEALTHD paid approximately Baht 187 million dividend to investors. To date, KF-HEALTHD has made three dividend payments, totaling 1.50 Baht/unit* since the inception date in August 2014, making the Fund continues to attract more investors. (Source: KSAM, 20 August 2015)” said Mr. Alan. Remark: * KF-HEALTHD dividend history since its inception in August 2014 (Baht/Unit): December 2014 = 0.40 Baht / March 2015 = 0.75 Baht / June 2015 = 0.35 Baht.
