The METROPOLIS’ design was influenced by the attempt to combine the old and new world of architecture to merge together in order to form a new piece of spectrum form. This unique feature has differentiated itself from other office buildings. The lower building architecture is inspired by traditional European buildings. The façade with a copper brown cladding and diamond cut shape is a special order, never before seen in Thailand, offers reflections of the light on the building from various angles. The building will appear to have different colors at different times of day.The front of Metropolis was created in an Arch shape with a Terrace on the top of the retail floor for a splendid Sukhumvit road landscape. Moreover, there are 2 cylindrical glass elevators in the front of building for supporting retails outlets. For the towering office building, it is designed to look modern and airy inspired by an Iceberg shape. Each floor offers a subtle change of orientation through its innovative design structure. It creates different views for the people on the office building. Furthermore, there are a curtain wall and column-free for outside panorama view.
The building has 2 storeys of retail space, 14 storeys of luxury office space and a rooftop. The elegant white marble decorative wall adds a unique concept to its interior design. The ceiling of the luxurious dome lobby measures up to be 10-meter high with a floor to ceiling curtain wall and a large glass wall around the building, allowing natural light to be found in every corner of the column-free interior, allowing flexibility in planning office space. Each floor has a ceiling height of 3.30 meters which is the highest among office buildings in Bangkok. The outside landscape is a French formal garden with a fountain. This was inspired by the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, giving tenants’ a sense of sophistication and uniqueness.
