ICANN Discusses Future of the Internet in the Asian Region With Local Language Domain Names And New Generic Top-Level Domain Programme

Bangkok--2 Sep--Total Quality PR Thailand - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the international organization overseeing the Internet's Domain Name System (DNS), recently organized a press briefing in Bangkok to discuss the development of the DNS and the growth of the Internet in the Asia-Pacific region. They also shared how the Internet can be used in more creative and innovative ways. The DNS is expanding and is expected to grow exponentially beyond the current 3 billion Internet users globally – with nearly half of them in the Asia-Pacific region.
