Animation International (Thailand) Company Limited or AI Thailand, along with Central Pattana Public Company Limited, Kasikorn Bank Public Company Limited and Muang Thai Life Insurance Public Company Limited, invite all Thai fans of Doraemon to celebrate 45 years of Doraemon comic books at "Comic 45th Anniversary Doraemon Comic World". This event opens a new world to fans via giant comic books, lets fans use magical items from the pocket of Doraemon in a four-dimensional format, and provides lots of photo opportunities with Doraemon, Doramee and their friends. Participants will also get the chance to buy Limited Edition collectibles made for this event only. This event will be held from today until January 10, 2016 at Central Plaza WestGate; there are two rounds of performances each day – on weekdays from 12:30 to 15:30 and 16:30 to 20:30; and on weekends and public holidays from 11.00 to 15.30 and 16.00 to 20.30. You can buy tickets at the event. Children's tickets cost 200 baht for weekdays and 250 baht for weekend and holidays; adult tickets are 250 baht for weekdays and 300 baht for weekends and holidays; and family (2 adults and 1 child) admission is 600 baht on the weekdays and 750 baht on weekends and holidays. Children under 110 cm can purchase tickets at a discount of 50%, and children with a height below 90 cm (but accompanied by family members), seniors aged 60 years and older, or disabled visitors receive free admission.
And to celebrate the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Doraemon comic books, the organizers have arranged for a special ad featuring five stars whom will each play the role of a beloved character from the hit cartoon. Nontanun Anchuleepradit (Kacha AF) plays Nobita; Sucha Manaying (Aom) plays Shizuka; Chaleumpol Tikumpornteerawong (Jack) plays Gian; Nuttapong Chartpong (Freud) plays Suneo; and Charoenporn Awnlamai (Kohtee) plays Jaiko. Doraemon fans are all invited to come celebrate this momentous occasion.
The event includes 5 zones of fun, including:
Zone 1: Scenes to Remember, a nostalgic exhibit of comic book pages in giant book form
Zone 2: Gadget Zone, where fans can enjoy the magic of Doraemon via simulated gadgets with the most realistic feel
Zone 3: Meet & Greet, where fans can meet and take photos with cartoon mascots from the Doraemon franchise in an exclusive session; there will be?5 sessions of performances on weekdays: 13.30-14.00, 15.00-15.00, 17.00-17.30, 18.30-19.00 and 20.00-20.30, and 6 sessions on weekends and holidays: 12.00-12.30, 13.30-14.00, 15.00-15.30, 17.00-17.30, 18.30-19.00 and?20.00-20.30
Zone 4: Licensed Merchandising and DIY Zone, where participants can purchase licensed products, including limited edition goods sold only at this event. For those who would like to show their artistic skills, there is also a space for DIY activities.
Zone 5: Doraemon Café Zone, for rest and relaxation over coffee and light cakes (the only venue of its kind in Thailand)
