PwC Thailand recently collaborated with PwC and the YMCA in Singapore on corporate responsibility (CR) projects to help communities in need. This is part of PwC Singapore Overseas Community Programme, a broader initiative to encourage PwC staff to become better corporate citizens. From 1 to 10 August, volunteers from PwC Thailand worked with the YMCA Pathien Youth Learning Centre in Myanmar to teach English and computer skills to local people. They also got their hands dirty by helping to build a community centre. The next CR project is scheduled during 7 to 15 November at Tambaliza, the Phillippines.
