dtac appoints distributors to raise 20% more SIM retailers nationwide for faster and better customer service

Bangkok--10 Sep--dtac dtac has restructured its sales model in its drive toward "Best in Sales" and appointed distributors across Thailand to manage product and service distribution at cluster level, with different customer behaviors and needs. The teams responsible for network expansion are also clustered with sales teams to optimize the efficiency of the expansion. Mr. Lars Norling, Chief Executive Officer, Total Access Communication PLC or dtac revealed, "dtac has restructured its sales operation, as part of one of the four major priorities, Best in Sales – to build a systematic and effective sales operation and help drive dtac toward the mobile internet leader. We have announced the appointment of distributors, based on capabilities, past distribution experience, expertise, local dealer relationships, and financial status, and aligned them into the cluster-based model that dtac had implemented. Each cluster is responsible for its own sales, service, and revenue. We have our employees to oversee the clusters, including distribution centers and retail shops, to ensure our products and services are quickly and conveniently available for customers." This appointment of distributors brings together distributors and dtac teams who have worked in zones and clusters. Having dtac staff and distributors at province, district, and sub-district level helps us understand customer behaviors, needs, and expectations better, enabling us to offer localized products, such as Chiang Rai SIM and Nan SIM. As a result of better understanding and giving what customers in specific regions want, the number of SIM retailers has increased by 20%. Our 4G network has now covered over 40 provinces, and 3G coverage has reached 95% of total population.
