Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort was awarded with the "Thailand Tourism Awards 2015" in the category of "Award of Excellence in Accommodation" by Tourism Authority of Thailand. The 10th Thailand Tourism Awards was recently organized at Grand Diamond Ballroom, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Mr. Nikolaus Priesnitz, Cluster General Manager of Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort received the prestigious Golden Kinnaree award presented by H.E. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports, witnessed by nationwide attendees from the tourism and hospitality industry.
Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort received this remarkable award for the second consecutive time and is the only property of Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas to be presented in 2015. Over the years, the resort has been operating and offering luxurious experiences to the guests from all over the world as well as conserving the environment and promoting sustainability.
The Thailand Tourism Awards are part of Tourism Authority of Thailand's ongoing efforts to constantly upgrade and enhance the standards of the kingdom's tourist destinations, to promote creativity, encourage environmentally-friendly tourism practices, and to ensure the Thai tourism and hospitality industry's competitiveness within ASEAN. The Award is divided into five categories: tourist attractions; organisational bodies that have strongly supported and promoted Thai tourism; accommodation; health tourism and travel programmes.
