Bangkok--2 Oct--PSU
Almost 200 amazing Thai and International FHT students turned out for the Safe Sex Campaign on Wednesday afternoon in the Common Rm. There were people everywhere-making safe sex packs to be distributed free in bars and restaurants in Patong. As the common room became full to capacity, students took to sitting in the corridors, just so they could be part of this amazing project. The students worked very hard, while having fun, and managed to make 20,000 safe sex packs breaking our previous record by 7,000. Ajarn Colin, who is a member of the Phuket Loves You Club, said "he was so very proud of all the students for their amazing hard work. They are making such a difference in saving lives and reducing HIV infection rates in Phuket and beyond." The Chairman of PLU, sent his thanks to all the students who helped out. What an amazing day. This really goes to show that PSU students care about what happens in the local community by involving themselves in these community based projects. Well done everyone.
