Kitisak Jampathipphong, big boss of Century 21, teams up with Yokohama Holdings from Japan to enter solar roof-solar farm business in Thailand

Bangkok--5 Oct--ซี ทู วัน เอ็กซ์ Mr. Kitisak Jampathipphong, big boss of Century 21, joins hands with Yokohama Holdings, the leader in designing and installing solar power system from Japan, to enter the Thai market in response to business trend toward alternative energy, boasting "Nodatex", the Hybrid System for PV system installation with quality and highest stability. The new venture focuses on every market namely horizontal and vertical, industrial factories, hotels, resorts, solar farm and etc. The new venture is set to be listed on the stock market within three years. Mr. Kitisak Jampathipphong, Chief Executive Officer of Century 21 (Thailand) Co Ltd, said that the agreement with Yokohama Holdings from Japan comes from his private investment. He views that Yokohama Holdings has experience and skill in installing solar energy system. In addition, the global trend has moved toward clean energy. The Thai government has also supported the green campaign by reducing unnecessary energy consumption in the household or using alternative energy. He has experience in real estate business and connections with leading real estate companies. Mr. Kitisak has also been the business partner with Yokohama Holdings which operates solar power system installation for more than eight years. He therefore is interested in introducing the efficient solar power system from Japan to the Thai market. "My project with Yokohama will support each other's strength," said Mr. Kitisak. He added that the new venture is Yokohama Holdings Energy (Thailand) Co Ltd. Although the cooperation is based on his own investment, it reflects that from now on Century 21 (Thailand), in its capacity as a real estate broker, is leading real estate business toward green saving by offering alternatives to trade partners or real estate allies that the company has participated in sales and marketing management. The company believes that it provides them with an option to efficiently manage their residential projects or buildings including hotels, resorts or industrial factories whose value constantly increase. The company has installed solar cell to more than 1,000 houses in Japan annually. The company has, so far, installed more than 10,000 units of solar roof and solar farm. Moreover, the company provides product warranty to protect roof leaks for up to 20 years. As for the operation in Thailand, the company has installed solar power with the capacity of 74kW at Toyota Showroom in Prachinburi and it is in the process of designing the installation of solar-roof for Toyota Showroom in Kabin Buri province. In addition, the company has many future projects with leading multinational companies in Japan in Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya province. Three factories have expressed their interest; the feasibility study and work plan of these projects, with the capacity of 1 megawatt per one site, are currently carried out. The company has also planned to take part in a project to install solar panels grounded to the earth with the capacity of 600 megawatts for the government agencies. The license is expected to be issued by the end of this year. The construction is set to finish by September 2016. The company plans to get 10 per cent of the project construction or around 60 megawatts. The construction is valued at 3 billion baht. The company begins discussing with leading Japanese companies about the possible cooperation to construct other alternative power plant such as waste-to-energy power plant and bio mass power plant, which are green projects that are supported by the government sector in the future. The company also plans to expand to housing projects in the future as targeted through the cooperation with Century 21. The company aims to list Yokohama Holdings Energy (Thailand) Co Ltd on the Stock Exchange of Thailand within three years.
