For three nights only, the spectacular nine-piece Big to the Future Band will perform its distinctive mix of contemporary jazz, swing, pop, and rock in the intimate surroundings of our award-winning Medici Kitchen & Bar.
The Big to the Future Band regularly perform in the world capital of entertainment, Las Vegas, and have been touring Thailand to rave reviews since 2012. Several band members have also toured with the renowned Biggles Big Band from Amsterdam.
At the "Big to the Future Wine Dinner" in Medici Kitchen & Bar, diners will enjoy a gourmet Italian six-course set menu with wine pairings. Entertainment at the fabulous dinner will include three live 15-minute mini operas, and a spectacular performance by the Big to the Future Band.
The exquisite menu of modern Italian cuisine will begin with fresh prawn tartare with egg caviar and sour cream dressing paired with Talamonti Pecorino Trabocchetto, 2013, followed by topinambur soup served with Norcia black truffle and asparagus. Diners will also enjoy risotto with fresh tomato sauce, basil emulsion and buffalo burrata cheese complemented by Pergo Montepuciano D'Arbuzzo, 2013. After a palate-cleansing Medici-style Limoncello sorbet, diners can choose a main dish of turbot fillet with potato and saffron emulsion, spinach and vegetables matched with Genesi Bianco Toscana Vementino, 2013, or lamb rack crusted with Mediterranean herbs, pecorino cheese souffle and porcini mushroom sauce to savour with Batasiolo Barbera D'Asti Sabri, 2012. The evening of fine dining and live music will end with an irresistible Medici-style chocolate fondant.
