Taking place in Bangkok from 18-21 November 2015, this will be the first time the One Young World Summit has been held in Asia, following successful Summits in Europe, the US and Africa. Counsellors at One Young World will work with 1,300 young leaders gathered from all 196 countries to address solutions to challenges across fields including Education, Environment, Global Business, Leadership & Government, Human Rights and Peace & Security. One Young World is unique in giving young leaders the opportunity to interact directly with some of the world's leading politicians, business leaders and campaigners, both at annual Summits and throughout the year. One Young World opens up a platform for its young delegates, empowering them to make lasting connections to drive positive change. An estimated 6.6 million people worldwide have been impacted by the work of projects started by those who have attended a One Young World Summit. This year, in conjunction with One Young World, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is launching the Social Business Camp initiative to give young Thai nationals the chance to win a place at the Bangkok Summit by submitting their initiatives to affect social change. Kate Robertson, Founder of One Young World said: "We hope to push the boundaries of what is possible with every One Young World Summit to ensure that we continue to be the premier gathering for young leaders globally. "This is a hugely exciting time for One Young World and we are proud to be taking the Summit to Asia for the first time. On the eve of the creation of the ASEAN Economic Community, now is the time to make sure that the voices of the region's youth are heard. "We want to include more young Asians at One Young World and attract greater attention to the issues affecting young people in the region. As we have seen with previous Summits, One Young World will provide the global platform to do this."
