As one of the few early Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) in Thailand, SecureAX is now joining hands with Microsoft, bringing across the Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM cloud solutions to its enterprise users.
SecureAX announces today its commitment as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) to help its enterprise customers enhance collaboration and productivity through the full range of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM services it now offers.
For many years, the Microsoft collaboration tools and apps such as Exchange Server, SharePoint and Dynamics have been offered to SecureAX customers either in the on-premise or cloud hosted models. On-premise model is typically used by customers who prefer to invest in their own servers and hardware through capital expenditure (CapEx) whereas the cloud hosted model enables customers adopt an operational expenditure (OpEx) approach where these Microsoft enterprise software are installed onto SecureAX's own cloud infrastructure in Singapore, Thailand and United States.
"Our own cloud infrastructure gives the best control and protection of data within Singapore or Thailand. The Microsoft CSP however is a great opportunity for us to work with our customers who scale across national borders and do not need their data to be localised within any specific countries," said Mr. Nattawoot Leadrutdachakul, Managing Director of SecureAX (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for Business, a core CSP product offering through SecureAX shall place strong emphasis on Managed Services:
- Pre-sales Proof of Concept and Total Cost of Ownership evaluation
- Migration services from existing Microsoft Exchange with minimal disruption or downtime
- Technical assistance direct to end user, bypassing the usual central IT escalation route in Office 365
- Technical support in English as well as localised in Thai and Mandarin languages
- Integration with on-premise infrastructure
- Business workflow and IT policy adoption
SecureAX Office 365 shall target the Medium-sized Enterprises in Thailand that do not have sufficient in-house technical resources to evaluate and adopt the right business IT tools to help grow their businesses. Through its Managed Services, SecureAX strives to reduce the burden and entry barrier to Office 365 faced by these Medium-sized Enterprises.

The announcement of SecureAX becoming a Microsoft CSP did not come as a surprise given the fact that SecureAX is already a Microsoft SPLA Partner since its establishment as a cloud service provider. The Managed Services offered on top of Office 365 appears to be a strategic decision which taps into its technical expertise as a Managed Cloud Provider, to differentiate its Office 365 offerings from most CSP resellers in the market.
