ZIC, South Korea's top motor oil brand, aims to penetrate deeper into Thailand's automotive lubricant market by introducing new products 'ZIC X Series' and having Kiatisuk 'Zico'Senamuangas their presenter. With the confidence of the high quality and great reliability of the products produced by SK Lubricants, the world's second-biggest lubricant oil producer, which is a member of SK Groupone of South Korea's conglomerates, ZIC is certainly able to achieve a 5 percent of the total market worth 20 billion baht.
Mr.Seaksun Srisupha-olarn, managing director of Oranoss, a subsidiary of KM Group which is the importer and distributor of ZIC lubricants of South Korea's SK Group, says that, since Oranoss has been appointed by SK Lubricants as Thailand's sole distributor of ZIC lubricants which achieves top sales in South Korea, in order to establish the brand's position in the local market, ZIC lubricants have enjoyed popularity in Thailand for the past decade. In particular, ZIC brand has achieved widespread popularity among car drivers in the premium market. Importantly, it continues to achieve expansion in line with the growth of Thailand's automobile industry. It has made available a wide range of quality lubricants that satisfy the needs of all types of vehicles including sedans, commercial vehicles and motorcycles.
To furthermeet the needs of the local automotive market with over 30 million cars, Oranoss has launched new products "ZIC X Series" which are premium grade lubricants with outstanding features in terms of both qualities and properties suitable for all types of vehicles in the areas of engine protection and quietness. Also noteworthy are the products' maximum lubrication efficiency, fuel economy and engine protection features.The viscosity index and other properties of ZIC X Series have also been successfully enhanced to such an extent that they have received from the world's leading automakers certifications that they are premium grade lubricants.
ZIC X Series can be used for all types of cars using benzene, diesel or natural gas. These include, among others, hypercars, supercars, sports cars, luxury vehicles, full-size cars, eco cars, cars belonging to segments from A to E, multipurpose vehicles, pickups, vans as well as motorcycles.

Mr.Phuwadetch Teinwutichai, deputy managing director, sales director of Oranoss, says that the Company has adopted a strategy to distribute the new products through dealers in all provinces of the country. Distribution channels will also include large factories, transportation companies, and international automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Although these channels already have direct access to consumers, the Company will take effort to increase the number of dealers not only to cover more areas but alsoto provide consumers with more convenience.
