Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Suresh Subramaniam as the General Manager, effective November 2, 2015. A New Zealand national, Mr. Suresh brings with him over 10 years' extensive experience as a General Manager from a hospitality career spanning two decades. Fluent in English, Tamil and French, Mr. Suresh has held hotel management positions in his native New Zealand as well as in Australia, India and Thailand. Having joined AccorHotels in 2007, he was most recently General Manager at Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok Managed by Accor since 2013. He is a graduate of Hotel and Hospitality Management from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, and holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Les Roches in Bluche, Switzerland.

Mr. Suresh is a devoted family man to his wife and two children, as well as a passionate musician in his off-hours. He is a guitarist and back-up vocalist of The Mauve Men, a rock band consisting of General Managers and VPs from various AccorHotels properties and corporate head office in Bangkok.
