Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya proudly presents a special performance by Sherman Tan, winner of The One talent search contest, on Sunday 8 November 2015 from 8pm onwards.
The One is an original talent search contest held at Hard Rock Penang in Malaysia to find the ultimate solo performer. Sherman Tan's charismatic talent was first noticed while he was a hotel management trainee in Langkawi. He was quickly asked to perform at a resort beach bar and was soon hired to sing at other venues. Leaving his training behind, Sherman soon embarked on a music career and made his name in the local music industry as a solo performer and as a part of bands such as JJEDS, Southern Reign, Stainless Steel, and Bongga Bongga. His powerful voice, energy, and stage presence soon took him to the stage at Hard Rock Penang's The One competition where he beat 10 shortlisted finalists to claim top prize.
As the winner of The One, Sherman played at Summerfest 2015 and at a special showcase at Hard Rock Cafe Osaka, Japan on 27 June 2015. As part of our Imagine There's No Hunger campaign launch, Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya is bringing Sherman Tan to our stage for an amazing night of music. Entrance is free but donations to Why Hunger are more than welcome.
