To raise funds for the 'Friends in Need (of Pa) Foundation'
Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is pleased to announce that it will organize the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony this year following the traditional celebration that this hotel has been organizing for the past 31 years. In conjunction with this celebration, the Christmas Tree Charity Project will also be held for the 9th year and this year, is in collaboration with one of Thailand's top luxury and fashion magazines, L'Officiel Magazine, as well as one of the top style magazines for men, L'Optimum Magazine. The funds raised from the Christmas Tree Charity Project will support the various projects at the 'Friends in Need (of Pa) Foundation' patronized by HRH Princess Bhajirakitiyabha under the auspices of the Thai Red Cross Society.
The event is part of the festive celebration that the hotel is organizing to commemorate HM King Bhumibol's 88th birthday; to ring in the festive season and to thank our clients and friends with our traditional Gala Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony which will take place on December 3, 2015 in the presence of HRH Princess Soamsawali, in our Lobby.
The Christmas Tree Charity Project will once again showcase the creativity of a number of Thailand's renowned and leading interior and fashion designers, architects, celebrities and lifestyle artists in decorating the Christmas trees commissioned by select luxury partners. Some of the celebrity artists who have volunteered their time and effort in the name of charity and paired with the charitable corporate sponsors are: Polpat Asava with Citibank N.A., Elizabeth Romhild with Divana, Dr. Singh Intarachoto with DRati Creative Passion, Vasu Virajsilp with Italasia and Ou Bhaholyothin with Sonite Innovations. Other corporate sponsors with trees designed by their in-house artists are: Design Gallery Zone, GrandWork (Thailand) Co., Ltd., HSBC and Kanokkun Co., Ltd.
An exciting selection of beautifully adorned Christmas trees decorated by these artists will be displayed and on view by all hotel guests and holiday shoppers during the period of November 29 until December 26, 2015. To make the event more exciting, members of the public will have a chance to vote for the best decorated Christmas Tree from November 29 until December 3 (at noon) and a Princess trophy will be presented to each of the winning company and artist who have received the most number of votes by HRH Princess Soamsawali on the night of the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
