Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok offers guests an opportunity to become real-life superheroes by taking part in the "Superhero Charity Christmas Tree 2015" to raise funds for disadvantaged children of the CCF Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The charitable activity will take place at the main lobby from 1 to 31 December 2015.
To make this festive season even more special, guests with genuine kindness can put their superpowers to a good use and make a real difference. It would entaill putting their lives at risk or wearing the superhero outfit to patrol streets in Bangkok, chase car thieves or do any crime fighting, guests may simply visit the hotel in December 2015.
The Superhero Charity Christmas Tree 2015 invites guests to purchase gingerbread cookies in superhero mask, creatively created by the hotel's Executive Pastry Chef Reinolf Moessl. A set of two colourful gingerbread cookies is priced at 500 baht. Guests who purchase the mask will receive a Golden Christmas Star Card, on which they may write their wish message prior to hanging onto the Christmas tree in the hotel main lobby themselves. The hotel believes that the magic of a thousand stars can happen, and it all starts with a wish.
Guests are invited to take the opportunity to make a wish during this magical time of the year and show off their benefaction of being real-life superheroes by taking pictures of themselves and their mask with #ShangrilaSuperhero.
Proceeds after expenses will support dedicated care and development programmes for the children of the CCF Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
