Nestleand DHL Supply Chain have officially opened their new distribution center at TPARK Wangnoi 2. With an area of 27,000 sq m., it is Nestle's largest and most advanced distribution center in Indochina. In partnership with DHL Supply Chain, the new distribution center will enable Nestle to better meet the needs of millions of consumers in Thailand through more efficient and timely delivery of the company's well-known and highly-popular products. The distribution centerwas developed by TPARK as a high-quality,Built to Suit warehouse that meets USA NFPA standards.

Nestle Thailand has appointed DHL Supply Chain Thailand to provide warehouse management at the new distribution center. "We chose Wangnoi while considering Nestle's supply chain requirements and the location provides great distribution capabilities across Thailand. The long relationship with Nestle has given us a wealth of experience and helped us design this state of the art facility specific to their needs. Our knowledge of the logistics systems ensures that the distribution process is as cost-optimized as possible. This, coupled with advanced technologies, provides the highest degree of accuracy, visibility and efficiency for Nestle. This new operation will provide the benchmark for future engagements between our companies. In addition to the strategic advantage from the outstanding location, this Builtto Suit warehouse has also been developed to match Nestle's global standards. Mr. Patan Somburansin, Managing Director of TPARK, added: "The Nestle DC is equipped with a fire protection system that meets world-class standards set by the US-based National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). This covers the installation of fire extinguishers, sprinklers, water reserves, and water pumps for this purpose. Additionally, the warehouse floor can handle as much as 6 tons of pressure per square meter, while the mechanical fan system allows fresh air from outside the warehouse into the building to make the interior a physically comfortable place to work in. We are confident that our Builtto Suit development standard,along with that of Nestle, have combined to result in a distribution center that is tailored to meet the specific requirements of the food and beverage business, optimally utilizing DHL Supply Chain's logistics management capabilities. The facility is also capable of future expansion to cover up to 43,000 square meters of floor space. Additionally, customers based in TPARK Wangnoi 2 can rest assured that the area is safe from flooding thanks to our efforts to elevate the area above the level of the 2011 floods."
