Bangkok--11 Dec--Siemens Thailand
In 2012, Siemens Ltd. was one of only three companies in Thailand that was granted by the Coalition against Corruption Council a certified member of Thailand's Private Sector Collective Action Coalition against Corruption (CAC). The status is required to be reviewed after three years. This year, Siemens Ltd. is once again approved by the CAC and became the first company granted to extend a certified member status for another three years. The community, on the other hand, has grown to cover 521 companies.
Earning this certificate emphasizes Siemens' compliance on anti-corruption and how Siemens Limited is highly recognized among businesses and industries in Thailand for its strong anti-corruption measures. Many organizations have used Siemens as a role model.
Thailand's Private Sector Collective Action against Corruption (CAC) is an initiative by the Thai private sector to take part in tackling corruption via collective action. The CAC aims to bring effective anti-corruption policy and mechanism into implementation by companies in order to create an ecosystem of clean business community.
