JEAN-MARIE ECAY QUARTET LIVE AT MAGGIE CHOO'S
French jazz guitarist Jean-Marie Ecay set to delight Bangkok jazz aficionados on Thursday 17th December.
Maggie Choo's is proud to present a superb jazz quartet featuring international guest artist Jean-Marie Ecay from France, accompanied by Laurent Couson on keyboards, Roberto Briot on bass and Kevin Biddle on drums. It will not be the first time Ecay plays in Bangkok, as he has already performed in 2008 at Bed Supperclub as the guitar player of the Billy Cobham band. Audience is promised to experience an intimate a jazz-rock infused concert from exceptional musicians as the talent supporting the French guitarist has been hand picked by Bangkok-based French pianist and composer Laurent Couson. Along with him is Roberto Briot on bass and Kevin Biddle on drums, two top quality musicians who promise to deliver an exceptional rhythmic section.

Jean Marie Ecay is a French Basque guitar player. His 3rd CD has been released in September 2014. He has been playing with the Billy Cobham band since 2006.
He is welknown for his versatility . He has participated in many projects, from jazz to pop, with many artists such as Didier Lockwood, Richard Galliano, Alain Caron, Carlos Benavent, Eddy Louiss. Dee Dee Bridgewater, Niels Landoky, Claude Nougaro… Some others international artists such as Randy Brecker, Gino Vannelli, Eddy Gomez, Alex Acuna or Stanley Clarke called JME for some collaborations when they were in Europe.
