Bangkok--5 Jan--Tesco Lotus Mr. Charkrit Direkwattanachai, Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability, Tesco Lotus, is applying mosquito spray on a child's arm in a community in Beung Koom district in Bangkok. Tesco Lotus has donated 3,000 bottles of mosquito spray to Beung Koom District office, who will distribute the repellent to communities within the district to help protect residents from mosquito bites which could lead to dengue fever. The Department of Disease Control has forecasted that dengue fever will be one of the five communicable diseases to watch out for in 2016, with more than 160,000 patients affected by the mosquito-borne disease.
