EXIM Thailand appointed Mr. Kematat Saicheur and Mrs. Wantana Mongkolsri as Senior Executive Vice President and Mr. Chana Boonyachai as Executive Vice President, effective on January 1, 2016.
Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) appointed two new Senior Executive Vice Presidents, namely, Mr. Kematat Saicheur, Executive Vice President currently serving as Acting President, and Mrs. Wantana Mongkolsri, Executive Vice President. As a Senior Executive Vice President, Mr. Kematat will oversee domestic and international project financing, domestic business loans and merchant marine financing. He will continue to serve as Acting President responsible for overall business policy implementation and governance. Mrs. Wantana will be responsible for SME financing, branch administration and export credit insurance. The Bank also appointed Mr. Chana Boonyachai, Senior Vice President of Office of Risk Management, as Executive Vice President to supervise the Bank's risk management, debt administration and credit procedures, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and export-import banking operations. The appointments became effective on January 1, 2016.
Mr. Kematat holds a Master of Arts degree in Applied Economics from San Jose State University in the US and a Bachelor of Economics from Ramkhamhaeng University. Joining EXIM Thailand in 1993, he was Manager of Hat Yai and Rama IV Branch and, later on, First Vice President of Credit Analysis Department and Senior Vice President of Business Promotion Department 1 before taking up the position of Executive Vice President in 2013.
Mrs. Wantana obtained Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Business Administration degrees from Thammasat University and has worked as Vice President of Loan Restructuring Department 1, Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Company Limited and Senior Vice President of Loan Settlement Department 1, Asset Management Corporation, before joining EXIM Thailand as Executive Vice President in 2010.
Mr. Chana graduated from Monmouth College in the US with a Master of Business Administration degree, major in Finance and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Chiang Mai University. He joined EXIM Thailand in 2003 as Vice President of Business Promotion Department, before assuming the position of First Vice President of Business Promotion Department in 2004, First Vice President and Senior Vice President of Office of Risk Management in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
