Bangkok--6 Jan--Ascott International
CapitaLand's wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) organised also this year around: 'A Good Deed for Children in Need', by collecting and donating toys & gifts collected from residents and staffs at their ten Ascott's properties in Thailand and handed them out to over 500 children in need at the 'Doi Wiangpha Pittaya school', a remote hill-tribe school located in the Golden Triangle.
Hundreds of presents were given to the children at the 'Doi Wiangpha Pittaya School', Chiang Rai province by Mr Jean Keijdener, Ascott's Country General Manager for Thailand together with Ms Myla Caceres, Ascott's Director of Sales and Marketing for Thailand, team-members of Ascott's Thailand as well as volunteers from iCare Thailand Foundation. All this spiced-up with some fun activities and games to the delightful enjoyment of the students. To make it even more special this year around; the combined volunteers teamed up and visited 25 families housed around the school's villages to offer them some goodie-bags containing food supplies and staple as well as blankets for their use.
Mr Jean Keijdener, Ascott's Country General Manager for Thailand, said: "Christmas is a special time of the year for giving. This time around we had again the privilege to host another great Christmas party for the students at the 'Doi Wiangpha Pittaya School', whom rarely have a chance to experience the joy and magic of the season. Equally it has once again been a truly memorable Christmas experience, not just for the students there but also for our team members as well as myself."
