DuPont Thailand, the leading science company, appoints Sittideth Sriprateth as Managing Director as the company continues to drive growth strategy in this key market. He succeeded Dr Somchai Laohverapanich who retired from DuPont end of December 2015.
Sittideth brings a wealth of senior and executive management experience gained from key regional roles in Asia Pacific and in the US with leading chemical and polymer companies. He joined DuPont in 2012 as ASEAN Business Development Manager and Asia Pacific Pricing Leader of Titanium Technologies business, based in Thailand. In 2013, he was named Managing Director of DuPont Vietnam and DuPont Myanmar based in Ho Chi Minh City and then in 2014 held an additional role of Business Leader of DuPont Crop Protection business for Vietnam.
In his new role, Sittideth leads the business operations for DuPont in Thailand including driving the sales growth for DuPont Nutrition & Health business. He continues growing DuPont's leading position in key strategic sectors in Thailand including agriculture, food, energy, and automotive.
Sittideth holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Microbiology from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. He obtains his Master Degree of Science in Food Technology from Chulalongkorn University, and Executive MBA from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administrative, Chulalongkorn University.
