District 3350 Rotary International, an international non-profit service organization of businessmen from various occupations with an ideology of "Service Above Self", invites all Thai people of all ages to be a part of the Celebration of the "2016 Thai Rotary Day under the theme: 'The Day to Present Gifts to the World' which will be on Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 10am. to 7pm. at Lumpini Park (at Gate No.4 - The King Rama VI Monument), Bangkok.
The 2016 Thai Rotary Day will host activities in honor of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 88th birthday, who is the royal patron of the Rotary in Thailand, and also offer community services through 120 booths, such as Dental care; trigger finger corrections; cataract treatments; mother and children's health care guidance; Wheelchair distribution to the disabled; spectacles for the elderly; Lead-free cooking utensils exchange; Education and business guidance and Vocational workshops and more.
There will also be job opportunities for up to 1,000 positions in 20 leading corporations, and an award presentation to the winners of the "Be a gift to the world" Photo Contest. Also the event will host stage performances from various artists, including live concerts by DJs from CatRadio. At the event, Rotary will provide free food, drinking water and snacks free of charge.
