China Table restaurant celebrates Chinese New Year with five days of outstanding set menus and an exciting lion dance performance.
New Year is the biggest holiday of the year in China and for all Chinese communities abroad. A lunar festival, Chinese New Year falls on 8 February this year when the Year of the Monkey will officially begin.
One of the best-known New Year traditions is the spectacular lion dance. To the sound of drums and gongs, performers in costume mimic the animal's ferocious movements. The dance is a highly athletic performance meant to ensure good fortune while adding to the festive atmosphere of New Year celebrations. Lion dance and drum show is performed at China Table restaurant on 8 February from 12.30 to 13.00hrs.
From 5 to 9 February 2016, China Table also presents superb set menu options for celebrating the new year. Along with a VIP Dim Sum Set Menu at THB 990++ per person, guests can choose from five additional set menu options at prices ranging from THB 700 to THB 1,100++ per person. All set menus are for five persons.
Various menu highlights include Wok-fried Andaman sea prawn with chili sauce, Braised beef fillet with black pepper sauce, Stir-fried pakchoy with shitake mushroom, Traditional Chinese style wok-fried sweet and sour pork spare ribs, and much more.
