Couples, honeymooners and those still enjoying the romance of wedded life are invited to visit Thailand in February, the month of love, and avail of a truly memorable experience in the "Land of Smiles".
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is launching the "Amazing Romance in Thailand" activity in cooperation with Suvarnabhumi Airport and the Immigration Division to make their visit extra special.
Couples coming to Thailand to get married, enjoy a honeymoon, or even propose to a loved one will find romance is all around, starting right at Suvarnabhumi Airport itself.
TAT has set up two special photo booths and registration counters in both the East and West Concourses of Suvarnabhumi Airport's Arrival and Departures Halls, so that the couples can get a memento of their trip.
The Suvarnabhumi Airport and Immigration Division have also arranged a premium lane to provide a fast-track immigration process for couples. After a brief registration process, couples will be given special souvenirs and privileges, and their names will be entered into a lucky draw making them eligible to win prizes; such as, domestic air tickets and accommodation. The lucky winners will be announced onwww.tourismthailand.org/romanticthailand and on Instagram (IG) romanticthailand.
The campaign will continue throughout February. It will be open every day during the month from 04.00 to 24.00 Hrs.
On 13-14 February, 2016, from 10:00 to 18:00 Hrs, a special activity called "Romantic Thailand, Land of RelationSHIFT" will be held. Couples can participate by taking photographs and circulating them via Instagram (IG) with the Hash Tag to #romanticthailand, #LandofRelationSHIFT, #AmazingThailand. Participants will get a FREE Thai scarf as a souvenir.
TAT Governor Dr. Yuthasak Supasorn said, "February is the month of Valentine's Day. For those in love, Thailand offers a variety of amazing hotels, resorts, spas, restaurants and shopping to have a great time.
"In recent years, Thailand has been voted the "Best Honeymoon Destination" by various websites and media. We want all the couples to have a memorable time in Thailand, and one of the best ways is by facilitating their passage through the kingdom's main gateway airport."
