Bangkok--26 Feb--Midas PR
Asia IoT Business Platform (AIBP): IoT Thailand is an event created by Industry Platform to provide local enterprises with a podium for learning and sharing information about Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) technology, while addressing key issues of IoT/M2M adoption. Asia IoT Business Platform plays a leading role in spreading IoT technology awareness in Southeast Asia and boasts a history of successful events in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia starting from 2014. AIBP: IoT Thailand will be held on May 26 - 27 2016 from 8:50 to 17:30 at Amari Watergate Bangkok.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), this event returns to Bangkok for a second year after a successful show up in 2015, where 285 delegates and IoT stakeholders gathered for two days to learn from each other and share cutting-edge technological developments. When describing the event in 2015, Sigvart Voss Eriksen, CMO of DTAC commented, "It's important to have application and infrastructure developers to work together and this is where this conference comes in as an important vehicle. It's the first time in Thailand and it's the first time for us to have this networking opportunity so that we can together build a platform for the future."
This year, an impressive advisory board comprised of local stakeholders such as Smart City Research Centre and DTAC, along with top professionals from leading companies in the field such as CAT Telecom, TRUE, and many more ensure that the latest innovative and relevant information is shared at the event. More than 250 important enterprises will be attending, and over 100 companies will be represented across five verticals: banking & finance, healthcare, manufacturing, transport & logistics, and smart city. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a number of influential speakers in the industry and learn about the potential of adopting M2M/IoT technologies such as Mobility, Cloud and Big Data analytics for their businesses along with vast networking possibilities.
Through this event, companies are provided with a chance to gain exposure within the industry. Sponsor companies enjoy various benefits such as solutions and case study presentations, exhibition and technology showcase, private meetings and customised networking sessions to form or strengthen business relationships,. Stream Technologies was a silver sponsor of AIBP: IoT Thailand in 2015, and their SVP of Low Power radio Networks (IoT), Tracy Hopkins stated, "I think these events are extremely amazing; sharing information, sharing knowledge, sharing networks. And I think it's great value for me as a technology provider to actually listen to local issues; listen to what's real in these countries."
Each day will be broken up into four sessions addressing the following areas: Market Trends & Outlook, Industrial IoT, Transport & Logistics, Smart City, Big Data, Cloud, Security, Healthcare, and Banking & Finance. The first day begins with keynote addresses by key IoT stakeholders including Malee Wongsaroje, Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, followed by an open discussion with a panel of government, telcos, and IoT experts on Thailand's current IoT/M2M projects and future developments. Throughout the two days, companies will be presenting case studies while over 20 esteemed companies including CAT Telecom, AIS, K2, Qlue and ADLINK will showcase new technologies and innovative products on the exhibition floor.
