Squadron Leader Pongtorn Thepkanjana (back row, fourth from left), Vice President, Aviation Resources Development, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), recently presided over a workshop on the pilot profession, which received the participation of approximately 400 people that included senior high school students, their parents, and interested members of the public. The workshop was held in the Auditorium of THAI's Head Office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
Similar workshops on a career as a THAI pilot were organized in the past several years and were held at various universities throughout Bangkok and in the provinces, such as at Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, Mae Fah Luang University, and Khon Kaen University. The workshop was held to create career opportunities for those interested in becoming pilots. This year, approximately 2,000 people have expressed interest and participated in workshops on a career as a THAI pilot.
