Bangkok--23 Mar--TQPR Thailand Leading American leisure motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson® (H-D) showcases a myriad of new offerings and initiatives at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show. From customized Dark Custom bikes, done in collaboration with two Thailand dealers, to the introduction of the all-new 2016 CVO™ Pro Street Breakout® motorcycle, a Slim Fit Custom range apparel made especially for the Asian body stature and the announcement of a region wide initiative - Passport to Freedom - that helps customers defray THB 14,750 in costs when obtaining a large-capacity motorcycle license. "Our brand is known throughout the world and is associated with freedom, individuality, and brotherhood. Our proposition is that owning and riding a Harley will set you free in a way that no other brand can. At this year's Bangkok International Motor Show, Harley-Davidson allows consumers to fully immerse themselves into the Harley lifestyle. Consumers will be able to experience the latest Model Year 2016 motorcycles, customization possibilities and have the opportunity to buy and win the latest Black Label and Slim Fit Custom apparel," says Peter Mackenzie, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson Asia Emerging Markets. The show which runs from Wednesday, 23 March 2016 to Sunday, 3 April 2016, will host Harley-Davidson at booth number B3. DARK CUSTOM HARLEY-DAVIDSON STREET™ 750 BUILD OFF Harley-Davidson of Bangkok's, Ken Svensson and Richco Harley-Davidson's, Richy Wilson collaborated with the brand to create two specially designed Dark Custom Street 750 motorcycles. Each motorcycle by the respective dealers showcases H-D's rich history of customization, and how each motorcycle is like a blank canvas waiting for a new generation of urban riders to make it their own. Launched in the U.S. in 2008, Dark Custom is the contemporary face of Harley-Davidson. It strips a motorcycle to its mechanical essence and the motorcycling experience to its rebellious core – the quest for freedom and self-expression. It is made with artful design and skilful engineering, to bring to customers the bikes that are unique, premium, as well as look and sound and feel like no other brand can. THE 2016 CVO™ PRO STREET BREAKOUT® Harley-Davidson® Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO™) re-writes the factory-custom style book with the introduction of the 2016 CVO™ Pro Street Breakout® motorcycle, a limited-production model that introduces a new, darker look utilizing cutting-edge finishes and textures applied with an obsessive eye to design and detail. They are customized using premium components and exclusive paint treatments and surface finishes combined with numerous items from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories. This all-new motorcycle will be the centerpiece at the H-D booth. PASSPORT TO FREEDOM At the Motor Show, Harley-Davidson announces the Passport to Freedom initiative – incentivizing consumers with a THB 14,750 rebate for customers who upgrade to a large-capacity motorcycle license in Thailand and across the region, to make Harley-Davidson their first choice. Consumers can use this THB 14,750 to offset their training cost, to purchase Harley-Davidson Parts & Accessories or apparel or and/or to use as a rebate to purchase a Harley-Davidson Street or Sportster® motorcycle. OTHER THAN MOTORCYCLES A rider isn't defined by just his bike, but his actions, his choices, his style. So at the Bangkok International Motor Show, there will be apparel on show from both the Black Label and Slim Fit Custom ranges. Like the Dark Custom bikes, Black Label apparel features a discreet, minimalistic design aesthetic that matches the taste and personal style of the new, younger generation of customers. The Slim Fit Custom range has been specially designed with the Asian body stature in mind.
