AirAsia has become the first and only airline to fly from its flight base in Chiang Mai to Changsha of China, allowing travelers to experience wonders that include UNESCO Natural Heritage Site and setting of popular film "Avatar" Zhangjiajie National Park and the beautiful Fenghua. Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Director of Commercial for Thai AirAsia, pointed out that the Bangkok-Changsha route was well received by Chinese and Thai travelers alike, with many Thais wishing to visit Changsha's Zhangjiajie National Park, a UNSECO Natural Heritage Site and teh setting for popular Hollywood movie "Avatar". The route has maintained a year long Load Factor average of 80% and spurred confidence the continuing growth of Changsha's tourism sector.
