Grandeur that is worth waiting for… ICONSIAM Co., Ltd., held an event 'ICONSIAM – The ICON Unrivaled' to present the era's most glamorous retail and entertainment mega-complexes as well as attractions of the city of the future – ICONSIAM – where 'first-in-world' and 'first-in-Thailand' phenomenon are brought together to become one of the most exciting destinations in the world. The event was presided by H.E. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul - Minister of Tourism and Sport, with the presence of Mrs. Pasinee Limatibul – Chairman of ICONSIAM Co., Ltd.; Mr. Narong Chearavanont – Vice Chairman of ICONSIAM Co., Ltd.; Mrs. Katevalee Napasab – Director of ICONSIAM Co., Ltd.; Mrs. Chadatip Chutrakul – Director of ICONSIAM Co., Ltd.; Mrs. Thippaporn Chearavanont Ahriyavraromp – Director of ICONSIAM Co., Ltd., together with over 1,500 honorary guests at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
The project's progress videos were presented whereas the era's most glamorous retail and entertainment mega-complexes covering 525,000 square metres were unveiled to the audience for the first time. Attendants were also astonished by ICONSIAM's model mapping with light and sound effects as well as a special performance by a world-class singer Lea Salonga. The evening of spectacular presentations ended with a cruise on the majestic Chao Phraya River, a significant landmark and location of 'ICONSIAM'.

ICONSIAM building is a compelling architectural design. Its interior comprises a group of buildings each with a 360-degree façade like a mansion within the main building. This concept is called 'ICONS within an ICON', elegantly offering the best Thai brands and luxury brands from around the world. River Park is an area for riverside activities. A multi-media water-and-fire feature will present a great spectacle along the 400-metre stretch of the Chao Phraya River, the longest in Southeast Asia. ICONSIAM Heritage Museum is Thailand's first world-class museum complex. Venice of the East offers exciting experience as it is the first indoor floating market, as well as impressive and enjoyable services found only in Thailand along with rare art and cultural performances. ICONSIAM will bring a 3-Michelin star restaurant for the first time to Thailand and will have some of world's famous 100 restaurants brands. In addition, ICONSIAM will be the most complete connection hub for all modes of transport in Thailand including land, rail and water. ICONSIAM is scheduled to be completed in late 2017.
