To start the Songkran season off in the right spirit, Suan Bua Modern Thai Restaurant, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, has created a classic Thai summer set "Khao Chae" to celebrate all of the rich, ripe tastes of summer. These seasonal dishes will be available throughout April 2016. Prices only at THB 550++ per person.
Khao Chae is a cooling dish of rice in jasmine water served with condiments that include sweet pork shredded, sweet beef shredded, sweet fish, marinated shrimp stuffed with sweet pepper and egg, deep-fried fish stuffed with shallot, deep-fried marinated shrimp paste, fish and Thai herbs and vegetable and herbs, green mango, spring onion, finger root, cucumber and spur chili. All these irresistible condiments come in small portions and are served on a plate decorated with carved vegetables.
