BITEC's expansion continues to take shape as the executive committee of Bhiraj Buri Group, led by Dr. Prasarn Bhiraj Buri, Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Prapee Buri, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Panittha Buri, Managing Director and Mr. Pitiphatr Buri, Executive Director, recently attended the ceremony of the first super truss installation, which will form the framework for the steel roof structure above BITEC's upcoming feature event hall, EH100. The super truss spans 108 metres and features durable strength for heavy loading. The ceiling reaches a height of 25 metres, creating a vast and column-free space perfect for world tour concerts, lifestyle events and large scale International exhibitions.
Project Summary:
Due to launch in November 2016, BITEC expansion is a 6 billion baht project which will deliver 3 new exhibition halls including EH 100, EH 99 and EH 98 as well as the new BHIRAJ Convention Centre consisting of 3 convention halls and 12 meeting rooms. With a total event space of 70,000 square metres, BITEC will be among the largest exhibition and convention venues in Asia. The key feature will be an event hall with a 25 metre high ceiling and a direct link to the BTS Skytrain at Bang Na station, making it the ideal venue for world tour concerts, lifestyle and entertainment shows as well as large scale exhibitions and conventions.
