Thaicom PLC, Thailand's satellite operator and leading space expert, led by Mr. Paiboon Panuwattanawong, Chief Executive Officer (2nd from right), signs a multi-year agreement with H.E. Osman Abdillahi Sahardeed, Minister, Ministry of Information, Culture and National Guidance, Somaliland (2nd from left), to provide SLNTV with C-band capacity on the THAICOM 5 satellite and a complete end-to-end solution. Thaicom currently broadcasts 15 TV channels in East Africa on its broadcast platform at 78.5 degrees east. The signing was recently held at Thaicom Satellite Station in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
