APEX Taiwan penetrates the medical devices business in Thailand. After launched product in Thailand market around 20 years ago by distributors and focus in OTC but start from now on will be penetrates the market in hospital channel. Finally need to be the hub to penetrate the market in CLMV.
Mr. Daniel Lee, Founder of Apex Medical Corporation Taipei, said after launched product in Thailand over 20 years ago by Samaphan International Company. He though Thailand market quite high potential and market growth in medical devices segment, so he has decided to establish the company in Thailand "Apex Medical Thailand limited".
Apex Medical Corporation is Taiwan Leader manufacturer and distribution medical devices. Currently Apex has distribution in 60 countries worldwide cover in Europe, America and Asia and has subsidiaries in UK, Spain, French, USA, Panama, Egypt, Greater China, Shanghai and the recently country is Thailand.
Mr. Chinnakarn Samalapa, Managing Director of Samaphan International limited and Samaphan Health limited, said while 20 years ago all products from Apex Medical Corp are imported by Samaphan International and distribute through OTC. However, Thailand market is high potential and growth every year, so Samaphan International limited was joint venture with Apex Medical Corporation last year. We need to focus in hospital channel and serve them with professional sales consultant, product knowledge and after sales services. In the future we also have planned to penetrate the CLMV market.
In the past, we have only distribution but from now on we will focus in after sales services. The main market is hospital channel, this channel we will serve them in product knowledge, high quality product and in the future we need to penetrate the CLMV market.
Medical Devices segment are high competitive market and in the same product line we have around 10 competitors but we are confident our quality of product are high and can be complete in the market and all products are got the USA FDA approval and CE Mark.
Products pipeline are focus on 2 categories : Air Mettress for Wound Management and CPAP for Respiratory Therapy.
