Siam Commercial Bank recently held a "EIC Conference 2016: Reviving Investment, Restoring Thailand's Potential" event that recommended that investors monitor public and private investment, and the direction of Thailand's infrastructure projects to boost the economy. The conference received the honor of H.E. Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister, as Keynote Speaker on the topic of "The future of Thailand under the New Era of Infrastructure Investment". Held at the Plaza Athenee, Bangkok, the conference began with opening remarks by SCB Chairman of the Executive Committee Dr. Vichit Suraphongchai, with the participation of distinguished speakers from both the government and private sectors presenting their views and perspectives on the economy.
