Amari Watergate Bangkok Introduces Chef Prae Dejmunkhun as Its New Pastry Chef

Bangkok--22 Jun--Amari Watergate Bangkok Mr. David Cumming, Vice President and Area GM, ONYX Hospitality Group announced the appointment of Chef Prae Dejmunkhun as the new pastry chef of Amari Watergate Bangkok, effective today. Chef Prae has more than 22 years of experience working in pastries, desserts, bread and especially chocolates. He started working in 1994 as bakery cook at Classic Place Hotel Bangkok, and then moved to Pathumwan Princess Hotel Bangkok, TK Palace Hotel Bangkok and Rama Gardens Hotel Bangkok from 1998 to 2001. After that, he left to work at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel Bangkok and Impact Exhibition Management Co, Ltd in 2005 as sous chef, then to Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel Bangkok as pastry chef, before joining Amari Watergate in the same position. For preparing outstanding dishes, Chef Prae has received many honorary awards, such as Bronze Medal during the Wedding Cake Competition of Thailand (WACS) in 2002, and as winner of the Wedding Cake Competition of Thailand (Amari Atrium Hotel) in 2007. In 2012, he received three awards, which are first prize for the Professional Category Plate Desserts Competition (TRAFS), bronze medal for the Dress the Cake Live (TICC) and silver medal of the Freestyle Pastry Showpiece Display (TICC).
