Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of gypsum innovations over 45 years and of the leading brand Gyproc, sponsored the BCI Asia Awards 2016 for the second consecutive year. BCI Asia Awards provides an overview of the regional building and construction industry by recognizing the top architectural firms and developers that had the greatest impact on the built environment in Southeast Asia. The Awards Ceremony was a regional program of events attended by the industry's top architects and building professionals.
A highlight in the regional building industry calendar, the "Top 10 Awards" format of the BCI Asia Awards were bestowed at exclusive, invitation-only ceremonies across seven major cities in Southeast Asia. Apart from the awards announcement, the event also hosts exhibition booths for stakeholders to present innovative tech products as well as providing an extensive networking platform for elite property developers, architecture firms, engineering consultants, manufacturers and service providers. Gyproc organized booth activities to showcase quality gypsum products and its latest product innovations, and integrated design and construction solutions.
Key highlighted products presented included Gyproc® Magnetic Plaster, a newly-formulated plaster that transforms normal walls into magnetic areas whilst also covering cracks effectively; Gyproc® Habito, a new option in construction that combines three ideal qualities: Extreme Shock Resistance, Soundproof, and Easy to Install; and Glasroc H Ocean, a gypsum board used in wet areas. The highly inorganic composition of this board allows it to be more resistant to moisture and mold, providing a safer solution than conventional gypsum boards. These products provide innovative, high quality lifestyle solutions which meet the needs of customers and installers, and are therefore very relevant to BCI Awards attendees.
