Another positive factor that can be seen clearly is Mazda's determination in brand-building in order to create a difference and maintain a unique character. Mazda has taken the right steps to ensure this, and we have also created stronger brand awareness by communicating the brand values through four main strategies. They include the SKYACTIV technology, KODO design, MZD Connect infotainment and i-Activsense safety package. They have made Mazda a brand that has all the core values that customers want," he said.

Mr. Thee Permpongpanth, Marketing Director, added, "The success of the Mazda brand with the 6th generation of products has resulted in a dramatic and continuous rise in sales, and we can see a large number of Mazda vehicles on the road every day. What Mazda needs to be prepared for is servicing the large population of Mazda vehicles in the country and this year Mazda has designated after-sales service as the main strategy that we will push forward fully. This includes improving the whole aftersales service in each showroom and strong determination in impressing the customer both before and after sales take place, as well as stepping up to become a premium brand. We also plan to stage activities and sales campaigns to make it easier for customers to own Mazda cars. For example we are celebrating the 5-million-unit production milestone for the Mazda3 by offering a special promotion consisting of special interest rates and free insurance from today to June 30."
