The months of July and August are crab season at Espresso, InterContinental Bangkok. The restaurant's expansive international buffet will include a number of special crab dishes all as part of new promotion "Ultimate Crab Feast".
Featuring on the menu are two imported crab varieties now in season, brown crabs and blue swimmer crabs. Brown crabs are prized for their intense crab flavor and firm texture, while blue swimmers make superb eating with their sweetness and complex structure.
The delicacies enhance Thai, Chinese and Western cold and hot dishes as well as soups. Highlights include: Blue Swimmer Crab with Citrus Dressing and Pineapple Jelly; Crab with Avocado Salad and Nori; Singaporean Peppered Crab; Crab Risotto with Peas and Saffron; and Crab Yellow Curry.
