Bangkok--20 Jul--แม็กซิม่า คอนซัลแตนท์ Thai Direct Sales Joins Force to New Connected Digital WorldProject to Drive Growth 5-8% Thai Direct Selling Association (TDSA) announced the new strategy - '4C', to gear for the better flow of direct-selling industry and adapt to the change environment in the era of 'digital age' including the changes in consumer behaviors. The direct sales is considered the new business opportunity for millennial generation who prefer less conventional work environments, or the self-employment chance to earn extra income or main income for better quality of life. Even Thailand's economic recovery is still uncertain, but the direct selling business is expected to grow 3- 5% this year. TDSA under the newly elected President aimed to boost growth of 5-8% over the next two year. Mrs.Suchada Theeravachirakul, newly elected President of Thai Direct Selling Association said 'The direct-selling market in Thailand is worth 70 billion Baht a year. Thailand is the second-largest direct selling market in South East Asia region as for the 2015 study. Moreover, the large number of new entrants into the industry, especially the millennial generation. They want to be entrepreneurs, not employees. They want to design their happiness life style together with earning income. During the 2-year term, we will build the modern image to reach to consumer behaviors that has been changed during the digital age. We learn and recognize the importance of social media. In the meantime, we encourage independent direct sellers and direct sales companies to expand their business more online in order to boost the growth of 5-8% over the next two years. Under the 4C strategy, we strive to create the growth of direct selling industry. The 4C strategy includes Community – Establishing the credibility and maintaining well perception for Thai direct selling industry both domestic and international. Competitiveness – Developing higher capability and performance for member companies and independent direct sellers, in relation to compete in the digital market. Connect – Connecting people and serving consumers benefit and rights protection by increase attention to public understanding of the direct selling industry and its benefits. Culture – Establishing organization culture to encompass value and behaviors for direct selling persons with the highest standards of integrity, responsibilities and code of ethics conduct. 'during the uncertainty for the economic recovery, the direct selling industry will help to provide opportunities, career, good income and bring better quality of life in sustainable society.' added Suchada.
