The fine dining restaurant, Jahn, at Conrad Koh Samui received the most votes to win the Global Winner in 'Thai Cuisine' and 'Ambience/Romantic Atmosphere' at the first World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2016. Jahn restaurant also returned home with the most prestigious award of the night 'The Overall Winner Award' for all restaurants among other nominations this year.
The award presentation ceremony and gala dinner was held recently at the beautiful town of Pontresina in Switzerland, attended by representatives of luxury restaurants, VIP guests from luxury resorts and spas from 38 countries around the world and Swiss TV and radio presenters and celebrities.
Mr. Stefano Ruzza, general manager of Conrad Koh Samui, attended the red carpet gala dinner and award presentation ceremony commented on receiving the award, "I had a strong feeling that night and I am confident that we could win one of the awards at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2016. When the celebrity MC, Mr. Kiki Maeder, announced our name on stage, I am honour and truly proud that we are recognized in two categories of the Global Winners and also won the Overall Winner award this year."
