New centre aims to introduce and showcase video collaboration solutions for Thai businesses and customers
Facility is the first Polycom solutions centre to open in the country and strategic to strengthening partners' competency
Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM) has launched a new customer demonstration centre in Thailand today, providing customers the opportunity to experience firsthand the company's latest video, audio and content collaboration solutions.
As part of Polycom's strategic growth plans for Thailand, the company looks to expand its technology portfolio and offerings to both existing and potential customers. The centre also aims to provide, introduce and equip Thai businesses with Polycom's video and audio conferencing solutions to help them remain competitive.
Located in Bangkok's Central World Tower, visitors to the facility will be provided with specialist advice and resources for purchasing, financing, and deployment to help maximise collaboration investments. In addition, the centre will also showcase the application of collaboration technology across various industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, banking and government.
This facility also serves the Polycom partner ecosystem and is strategic to providing expertise to all partners thereby strengthening partners' competency.
The demonstration centre will deliver a hands-on, interactive experience of Polycom collaboration solutions which include: Polycomฎ RealPresenceฎ Room systems for different room sizes; including the RealPresence Trio, RealPresence Debut and the new RealPresence Centro, the first visual collaboration solution purpose-built to put people at the centre of collaboration.
Equipped with industry-leading innovations such as automatic camera framing and zooming of meeting participants, SmartPairing, and noise cancelling technologies, the centre will also demonstrate how the unique open-standards approach of the Polycom RealPresence experience ensures interoperability with hundreds of UC, business, and social networking applications, bridging silos to truly unify communications across the enterprise. The centre will also showcase the native integration between Polycom's voice, video and content solutions and Microsoft's Skype for Business, SharePoint, Exchange and Office 365.
Customers will be able to gain better insights of how Polycom's collaboration tools can remove barriers to productivity by using customised solutions according to their organisational needs. The tools will also allow Thai businesses to develop digital work habits for their organisation that can help drive greater productivity gains, increased efficiency, cost savings as well as retaining and attracting talent.
