Meet The Chef
Chef Sandeep Prasad – Indian Chef
Back in year 1995, Chef Sandeep began his career as "Chef Assistant" in a Chinese Restaurant in New Delhi, India. He spent four years learning the fundamentals of cooking with basic recipes there.
Soon he realized that he did not want to be only a "Chef Assistant" so instead of looking at posters on his wall day dreaming about living the live he wanted, he went out and made it happen. To him, there was nothing more meaningful than to pursue a life of development and betterment. It was through improving himself that he got the most out of life. Before long, Chef Sandeep took another job as a "Chef De Partie" at Kaniskha Villa, New Delhi, and worked there for three years.
At the time, Chinese food was very popular foreign cuisine in India. One day, he thought Chinese food could be an integral part of the Indian culinary scene too so he began adapting Chinese seasoning and cooking techniques to Indian tastes through an offering of what he called "Chinese - Indian dishes".
New life story began when he brought his secret Chinese-Indian recipes to Thailand twelve years ago. Chef Sandeep did not only discover a passion for the true culinary arts, he also became aware of the significance of creativity.
He spent years working in many famous restaurants in Thailand before joining the Grand President Hotel, and he has been working with us for seven years now.
Chinese - Indian cuisine marries Chinese seasoning and cooking techniques to Indian tastes.
Today, our guests can enjoy delectable, savory and aromatic Chinese - Indian dishes in the only dining experience of its kind at Cafe11 Restaurant at the Grand President Hotel on Soi Sukhumvit 11.

Chef Nid Sriganin – Thai Chef
Chef Nid Sriganin's culinary experience reads like a long love letter to Thai cuisine. She spent over 39 years perfecting her cooking skills, starting in a cook helper position and then moving all the way up to being Thai Chef of a well-known Thai restaurant at the Federal Hotel on Soi Sukhumvit 11 before joining us in 2013.
If anyone knows how to cook delicious Thai dishes, for sure it will be Chef Nid.
